I think I’m finally losing weight! I’m on what I think is my fourth week of the Sonoma Diet (which is inspired by the Mediterranean Diet), and people are starting to notice. Well, people other than myself, unfortunately. And a strange thing has started — I’ve started to care about losing weight. Before, I knew I should lose weight, but never bothered to. Mostly because I would rather devour an entire large pizza than eat a salad and put my video game down long enough to do any sort of exercise.
I’m also really surprised at how little exercise I’ve had to do to get some results. I’ve been walking (not even really power walking or anything — just a brisk stroll) three miles at a time, four days a week. Before this week, I never would have thought there was a healthy way for me to lose weight. Woo hoo.
